This replica of a Highland Targe is made of plywood and covered with leather. This round shield is elaborately adorned with decorative brass nails. It features a generously sized brass shield boss in its center.

On the suede-covered back of the shield, the arm strap and handle, both made of leather, are fixed with brass rivets.
